Join us in celebrating the earth’s beauty through song with a vivid soundscape including the works of three local composers: Michael Brown (world premiere!), Karen Goldfeder and Glenn McClure.
Jake Runestad’s “Come to the Woods” (last performed by First Inversion in 2018) features a rhapsodic and improvisatory piano part (played by Dr. Linda Boianova) that intertwines with magical choral sonorities and a call to find rest in nature by John Muir.
First Inversion is proud to announce that we are Artists In Residence with Arts Link at Downtown Presbyterian Church, partnering in ministry to build Beloved Community.
As always, the concerts are offered as a gift to our community, with suggested donations of $25 (or $5 for students) to support our work.
