DESCRIPTION:Our March 22nd program features an opening set by the Sciv
 ias Medieval Ensemble (Dr. Heather Holmquest\, director)!\n\nJoin us i
 n celebrating the earth’s beauty through song with a vivid soundscape 
 including the works of three local composers: Michael Brown (world pre
 miere!)\, Karen Goldfeder and Glenn McClure.\n\nJake Runestad’s “Come 
 to the Woods” (last performed by First Inversion in 2018) features a r
 hapsodic and improvisatory piano part (played by Dr. Linda Boianova) t
 hat intertwines with magical choral sonorities and a call to find rest
  in nature by John Muir.\n\nFirst Inversion is proud to announce that 
 we are Artists In Residence with Arts Link at Downtown Presbyterian Ch
 urch\, partnering in ministry to build Beloved Community.\n\nAs always
 \, the concerts are offered as a gift to our community\, with suggeste
 d donations of $25 (or $5 for students) to support our work.
